For the love of Boozy Bread Pudding…


For when you need a nostalgic dessert for 2, this is perfect.

Bread Pudding with Baileys (serves 2)
heres what you need:
2 mason jars or 2 plain mugs (butter the insides)
60ml Baileys
60ml Double cream
60ml whole milk
1 egg
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
a pinch of mixed spice
2 + 1/2 slices of sweet bread
1 tbsp chocolate chips
1 tbsp raisins

METHOD
– warm oven to 180 degrees celsius
– spread 1 tsp pure butter on each slice of bread
– fill the buttered mason jars with the buttered bread,
– add raisins and chocolate chips to the jar
– mix remaining ingredients in a bowl
– pour over the bread in the jars (let it soak for 20 minutes)

– sprinkle some brown sugar on top for crunch
– bake for 18 – 25 minutes
– best enjoyed warm with cold cream
